About Hygiene Ltd, HACCP Food Safety and Hygiene Training Consultants, was established in 2004. We assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) Food Safety and Quality Documented Systems to enable food service providers to meet legislative, industry and consumer requirements, and to foster a strong food safety culture among their staff.
HACCP Food Safety Training ensures that people work confidently and efficiently. Our Food Safety training programmes can be taken on-line, at public venues and /or in-company to suit business/ personal requirements. In-house HACCP Food Safety Training is tailored and delivered to meet the client’s specific needs.
We are a Quality Assured Training Provider with Qualications Quality Ireland (QQI). All our Food Safety Training Courses are validated to Qualifications and Quality Assurance (Education and Training ) Act 2012 and based on national food safety best practice as outlined by the Food Safety Authority of Ireland's (FSAI) Training Guides 1,2, and 3I.
We are proud licensed Food Safety Training Providers with the Environmental Health Association of Ireland (EHAI) and the National Hygiene Partnership (NHP) for over 10 years.
Directors and Trainers, Evelyn Cafferty and Fiona McLoughlin are both UCC Food Science & Technology graduates and both are members of the Institute of Food Science and Technology in Ireland (IFSTI).They both completed Training and Continuing Education programmes with NUI, Maynooth and the Adult Literacy Tutor Programme with LEAP Basic Education, Leitrim and Failte Ireland. Evelyn Cafferty is the Board Member of the Mayo, Sligo and Leitrim Education Training Board (ETB) and a mentor for the 'The Future is Food' project developed by the TASTE Councilof Ireland and Bord Bia
All trainers employed with About Hygiene Ltd, HACCP Food Safety & Hygiene Training Consultants have worked in senior capacities for food manufacturers, retailers, hospitality, catering and Livestock export businesses with responsibility for food safety, quality, management and staff training which facilitates the development of inter personal and food business skills. All trainers have delivered training to a diverse range of organisations.
Our training style is learner focused. This involves the learner in active participation, applying training information to their daily activities. The training is tailored to meet the business, individual and group needs.
Professional development is the corner stone of our work ethic and continually strive to ensure training, advice, guidance and mentoring is effective and practical. This is ensured by acquiring feedback from every learner, each business, group and regularly reviewing methods to reflect their feedback.
