ErgoWize is designed to help employees work comfortably and safely at their workstations. This course provides an in-depth view of DSE related hazards and instruction on how to avoid them.

Stress Awareness is a 40-minute course designed to encourage employees to work positively. Based on the HSE Stress Management Standards, it provides an overview of stress and how to better manage it.

Safety Essentials for Managers is a 50-minute course designed to introduce managers to their responsibilities in the area of managing the health and safety of employees.

This half-day programme is designed to train participants how to handle chemicals safely.

The National Irish Safety Organisation will provide tailor made courses for voluntary organisations covering areas ranging from risk assessment to manual handling and dealing with stress.

Gives basic First-Aid Training.

Advanced First-Aid Course.

This Course will cover all aspects of Manual Handling Techniques and give professional advice on the correct methods to advoid injury through incorrect lifting/moving of items.

Three day Certificate Course, will give the participant an excellent understanding of First-Aid techniques.

Demonstrates the correct techniques to be used in the lifting or moving of patients, using the appropriate equipment.

This Course is designed to give the participants the skills necessary to carry out investigation into all incidents, accidents and dangerous occurrences with a view to preventing further accidents.

COSTA offers a range of practical community development support services, training and capacity building. We organise Workshops on various themes / subjects and we also go out to groups to meet their specific needs on demand.

Manual Handling Essentials is ideally employed as a primer to classroom training or as a refresher course following a classroom-based session.

The Slips, Trips and Falls course supports your organisation’s initiatives to safeguard health and safety by encouraging good work practices which prevent these safety hazards.

Up to (12) twelve people per course can be accommodated.Run under HSA guidelines. Certificates issued at the end of the course for each participant.

Aim of course is to provide personnel with the principles and precautions required to produce safe food. Encourages everyone to undertake the highest standards when handling food in the home or the community.

On completion of this one-day programme, learners will understand the following concepts: safety management and safety management systems; current Legislation; risk assessment; risk control.
