Course details:
The Charity Regulator has launched a public consultation on the governance of charities. This important public consultation will run from 1 November to 6 December and The Wheel strongly encourages all of our members to participate in this process and complete the online questionnaire.

The Wheel will be making our own submission into this process, and we would like to invite you to attend this Special Member’s Forum to provide your input on the points that The Wheel will make in its official submission.

This free event will also provide an opportunity for Ivan Cooper, The Wheel's Director of Public Policy, to update you on the work of the Regulator’s Consultative Panel on the Governance of Charities – the panel that will be making recommendations to the Regulator following the public consultation.

It is very important that the Irish community, voluntary and charity sector's voice is heard in this process which will result in the Regulator setting guidance for the governance of charities.
