Course details:

Your board is the backbone and beacon for your organisation. It is imperative that all members of staff - as well obviously as the board themselves - have a tight and up to date grasp on the nuts and bolts of board roles and responsibilities. Happily, this webinar will provide precisely that...

What does Good Governance look like?

Good Governance:

  • is the art of being clear about purpose and staying in control
  • is about how an organisation is run, directed and controlled
  • means an organisation will have policies & procedures in place to ensure the organisation is run effectively
  • applies best practice to directing and managing your organisation’s internal affairs.

What will this webinar give you?

Well, for starters you'll gain:

  • A clear understanding of the key principles of good governance
  • Clarity on the board’s responsibility to run the organisation effectively
  • An understanding of the role of the board and the role of paid staff [if any].
