Feedback from Previous Attendees of Gert's Communications Workshop:

"So much to take in from driving engagement, planning campaigns, communication, knowing your followers, donors and thinking how to get more involvement/engagement. Very insightful and excellent introductory session to Digital Campaigning." - C. Donnelly, Chronic Pain Ireland

"I found value in a lot of the content. The section on the analysis of social networks was particularly enlightening. The emphasis on visual content was of great interest plus the mapping of contacts. The importance of keeping donors updated with what is actually happening with their money was a good reminder and the importance of NOT being the charity that ALWAYS asks for things!! And finally the significance of having a donate button on the website and text donation capabilities was educative. There wasn't any part of the session that was unhelpful! I will certainly attend more sessions in the future!" C. Coughlan, The Cork Deaf Association

"I was happy to discover that I have been on the right track with things I'd been trying out. I also discovered new ways of digital campaigning & other resources I can use for it." - C. Faherty, Cork Animal Care Society

"The advocacy segment was particularly relevant & helpful Understanding of the less obvious aspects of Facebook & LinkedIn Online tools." - G. Dickson, Cork YMCA/ YMCA Ireland

"I am new in my organisation so I got a great understanding on how important a website is, emailing and facebook. Our Organisation has never done fundraising so it gave me an insight on how firstly to let people know we are here. I will bring it to the Board. I think our website would need to be changed from what I learned at the course." - M. O'Mahony, Eating Disorder Centre Cork
