Community/voluntary organisations and charities face a myriad of risks, including: uncertain funding streams, working with vulnerable client groups, achieving strategic goals and having the desired impact, health and safety hazards, dealing with volunteers, etc.

Although these risks cannot be avoided, their potential impact can be minimised through effective risk management.

This practical workshop will help you:      

  • assess the risks facing you and your organisation
  • develop an effective strategy to deal with this risk
  • access further information and resources on the topic

Facilitator: Elizabeth Bolger

Elizabeth Bolger is The Wheel's Services Manager. She is responsible for administering The Wheel's annual risk management process and works closely with the CEO and Board in the process. Elizabeth has over 10 years management level experience within the Irish community and voluntary sector and holds a Masters degree in Strategic Management .
