This half-day information session will provide Irish organisations with an overview of Creative Europe, Europe for Citizens and Erasmus+, the EU’s culture, citizenship and youth programmes.

Course details: 

Co-organised by The Wheel, the Arts Council and Leargas, this event will provide information on the various EU funding strands available to cultural organisations.

An overview of each programme will be provided along with details of how to apply. Representatives from arts organisations who have benefited from EU funding will share their experiences of applying for and rolling out funded projects.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the day, attendees will have:

  • Familiarised themselves with the EACEA’s cultural programmes (Erasmus, Europe for Citizens and Culture) and funding opportunities available
  • Increased knowledge of the requirements in applying for EU funding
  • Learnt about specific areas under which calls will be open (e.g. youth arts, citizenship, remembrance, integration etc)
  • Become aware of the relevant National Contact Points in Ireland (e.g. Arts Council, The Wheel, Leargas)
  • Had an opportunity network with your peers.
