The aim of this 2 day programme is to provide an overview of basic information relating to drugs and addiction which workers can use to inform them in their work with clients who have substance misuse issues. This programme seeks to provide a blend of theoretical and practical information which will provide a solid basis from which workers can begin to understand addiction and its associated behaviours.
All workers in the social sector who are likely to come into contact with clients who have alcohol or drug misuse issues.
