Course details:

Irish charities / nonprofits are used to finding themselves under intense scrutiny in the public and media eye. However, following the enactment of the Companies Act 2014 and Charities Act 2009, it is not only desireable - but is, in fact, imperative that all nonprofit leaders / managers / trustees are fully up to speed with the updated mandatory legal responsibilities of Company Secretaries and Directors that both of these acts affected.

It is for this reason that The Wheel, working with the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA), has developed this innovative workshop, which has been specifically developed to provide attendees with CPD accredited training on the legal responsibilities & duties of the Company Secretary and Directors of Irish corporate charities.

The full day workshop will explore and examine the ways in which many of those responsibilities have changed or deepened with the introduction of the Companies Act 2014 and the commencement of the Charites Act 2009.
