What?
This short course introduces the concept of environmental education, what it is and how you can incorporate it into your work using activities developed by ECO-UNESCO.
By the end of the training participants will:

  • Understand what environmental education is
  • Know how environmental education complements teaching as well as engaging the wider public in environmental issues
  • Understand how environmental education complements youth work
  • Be able to apply environmental education in theory and in practice
  • Be aware of the latest trends and developments in environmental education and education for sustainable development

Who?
Teachers, youth and community leaders, Environmental Awareness officers and anyone else interested in learning more about environmental education.
