Professional Therapists applying for a qualification in Indian Head Massage in order to practice the therapy professionally must hold a Diploma in Anatomy & Physiology, as well as copies of professional insurance information.
The VTCT certificate in Indian Head Massage covers:
- History of Indian head massage
- Contra-indications and contra-actions
- Effective posture
- Indian head massage techniques
- Balancing the chakras
- Providing massage without clothes and over clothes
- Use of oils to benefit the scalp
- Use of Indian head chairs or adaptations for the working environment
- Health, Safety & Hygiene
- Client care
The course will run for 5 classes over 5 weeks
The cost of the course is €395 per person with €100 deposit on registration.
