Diploma in Holistic Massage

Part time diploma course in massage which also gives a detailed study in anatomy and physiology of all the major body systems.


Course Details Part time diploma course in massage which also gives a detailed study in anatomy and physiology of all the major body systems.
Theory and practical study into holistic Swedish full body massage techniques, history, philosophy, ethics, client care, hygiene and professionalism. Internationally and nationally recognised diploma on successful completion.


This course provides a foundation for and underpins the knowledge on which all complementary therapies are based.

Aims & Objectives:


On completion of this course, students are fully qualified as massage therapists. They also gain a thorough knowledge of anatomy and physiology of the body and as such this is an excellent foundation course for anyone interested in pursuing further studies into complementary therapies or sports massage/sports injury courses. Graduates of this course can gain employment in spas, leisure centres, work from private practice either full time or part time.
At the end of the course students will sit exams in Holistic Massage, Anatomy & Physiology and Business & Ethics. There will also be a practical massage exam and students must also submit 5 case studies.
