Diploma in Web Design

The internet is continuing to expand in commercial, academic and social circles as a means of communicating, advertising, publishing and distributing information. Companies now also require in house personnel to continually update and improve their websites. The Diploma in Web Design will give students a far deeper understanding of the web and learning to build their own websites using HTML will give students far better control over the development of corporate and/or their own websites.

MA in Ethics (Joint Programme with DCU)

The Programme

The Institute of Ethics at Dublin City University (DCU) together with Mater Dei Institute of Education (MDI) are pleased to announce a newly-accredited joint Master of Arts in Ethics.

This MA in Ethics programme provides participants with knowledge, skills and competence to examine ethical issues, challenges and dilemmas in professional and public life from a wide spectrum of ethical worldviews and theories. The programme provides participants with a grounding in the foundations of ethics, human rights and social justice. Participants will also develop the necessary ethical analysis and decision-making skills to apply ethical perspectives and principles to real-life and professional dilemmas. As such the programme aims to "add value" to continuing professional development.
