Leading Edge 2020: Critical Thinking on the Future of International Development

Through Leading Edge 2020 Trócaire have engaged in a high-level discussion with leading thinkers on the changing framework for development: from what will happen to the MDGs after 2015 to the impact of China on the aid effectiveness agenda and the main global trends that will impact on development: from climate change to demographic shifts, global inequality to natural resources.

How International NGOs should respond; what they must do to stay relevant and how they can face the many challenges ahead. The Leading Edge 2020 Report offers their insights and presents choices in how to respond.

Some of these thinkers will gather to launch the Leading Edge 2020 report and continue this critical discussion in Dublin on Tuesday March 22nd. These include EU Commissioner Andris Piebalgs, the Directors of IDS, ODI and CPRI, civil society representative form Malawi, Ethiopia and Pakistan, and many more. Hold the Dtae and Join the Debate

This research is funded by Irish Aid and supported by IDS.

Early registration is advised due to high level of interest.
