The S.C.O.O.P. Foundation (Save Children Out Of Poverty)

Description:
The SCOOP are an exciting and innovative young bunch raising funds for a better present and future for children everywhere.
At The SCOOP Foundation we want to help under-privileged children and teenagers fulfill their potential and realise a better future. We're only at the beginning of our journey and ask you to join us...

The SCOOP believes that education is the key to changing the futures of disadvantaged children, and that a school works as the centre of a community, creating a care and loving environment around the children also.

We support and fund specific projects where we and our supporters can really get involved and create a par see the results of their labour and support. We thrive on making the day to day life a child that little bit better, by building them new, safer and more comfortable bedrooms; through funding art supplies or an excursion; by helping a teenager from an orphanage receive a higher education, or when another learns how to become a mechanic.

These are the differences you can make with the SCOOP, and the differences we work to create.

Our aim is to fund, support and suggest as many different elements to life and the learning experience to these children and the people that share our vision; and to witness the personal and collective benefits that can result from it.

Since beginning operations, we have noticed that the children we support relish any learning opportunity, albeit a new language, or a certain skill they can use recreationally or to gain employment, or even if they just get the chance to be creative, the list is endless.

We also want to become an inclusive organisation, one run by the people and not by over paid, undriven directors. We also want to as transparent as possible, treating every donation or dime given to us in the same regard as the guys in India or Cambodia would.

Also if you part with your hard earned money we want to give you something in return if even just a good time with our events, on top of the fact that you are making a real difference by supporting our projects.
