The Masters in Voluntary and Community Sector Management at University College Cork, Ireland, is geared towards community and voluntary sector workers who have experience in project management and co-ordination and who want to develop their knowledge and skills in this area. It is a part-time course taught one-day a week (Wednesdays 10.00-4.30) over two years and is particularly geared towards people working in the community and vountary sector and mature learners. It consists of 12 taught modules, a 4 day Easter School, and a participatory research project/dissertation. It is taught by 8 different Depts in U.C.C. - Applied Social Science, Co-operative Studies, Management, Finance, Law, Government, Information Systems, and Economics.
