Kimmage Development Studies Centre

Kimmage DSC provides education and training for development workers from Ireland and overseas.

Information about your organisation / company: 

Kimmage DSC provides education and training for development workers from Ireland and overseas. Programmes on offer reflect a combination of formal and non-formal educational methodologies and are run at undergraduate (Ordinary BA Degree) and post graduate (MA and Graduate Diploma) levels, with options to study on a full-time or part-time basis. Courses provide hands-on practical training whilst also providing an opportunity for participants to become fully familiar with relevant theories of development.

Training experience and qualifications: 

KDSC has over 30

years of experience providing education and training. All courses run in the KDSC and those run on an outreach basis are accredited by the Higher Education and Training Awards Council (HETAC). Staff are drawn from a variety of academic and professional fields reflected in the interdisciplinary composiiton of the courses.
