Radio Presenters Course

This course is held in Dublin City fm radio studios, and gives participants an opportunity to practice news reading and/or continuity announcing, to learn about creating vox-pop packages for radio, and to research and conduct a live in-studio interview. Participants receive a demo disc on completion of the course. The course is held several times throughout the year. Check the website for details of the next course.

Irish Academy of Public Relations

Formed in 1992, the Academy is the largest provider of communications training in the country. We offer courses in public relations, journalism, event management and grammar.

Information about your organisation / company: 

The Academy designs and implements training courses in communications areas like public relations, presentation skills, press releases, event management, organising functions, newsletters etc. Our  trainers all work in pr, or journalism or event management. All are all practitioners who have hands-on experience of the areas they are teaching. 

Training experience and qualifications: 

All of our trainers and distance tutors are experienced practitioners - PR consultants, journalists, broadcasters and  sub-editors. Their knowledge, examples and advice are always current.
