Sunflower Days is one of the most popular national fundraising events in Ireland each year and is a major source of income for hospices and voluntary hospice groups. It is an all island fundraising event now in its 22nd year! We are delighted to have Irish Pride’s continuing support as sponsors of the event.
Sunflower Days 2012 will take place over June 8th and 9th. Some hospice groups will be concentrating on a single Sunflower Day on either the 8th or 9th of June 2012. Please refer to your local hospice for further details. You will find contact details for your local hospice service on the location page. Over the two days, thousands of volunteers will sell a range of items ranging from sunflower pins to nail files.
The aim is to raise €1 million to support local hospice services.
Everything raised locally, stays locally. The use of the funds depends on the
local needs - in some areas it will fund home care services and in others, it
will be invested in the hospice.
