Coeliac Awareness Day 2010

Coeliac Awareness Day 2010 takes place in Beshoff Bros, Mespil Road, Dublin 4 on Sat 4th Sept from 1.30pm to 5.30pm. In order to raise awareness of the symptoms and issues associated with Coeliac Disease. Beshoff Bros provide gluten free fish and chips every weekend in Mespil Road, which are otherwise difficult for coeliacs to enjoy normally.

Trinity Takes to Streets Triathlon Relay

Enter the 'Team Challenge Triathlon Relay' - presented by Dublin City Triathlon on Sunday, 29th August 2010.

With a choice to swim, cycle or run you will have fun, and support ‘Trinity Takes to the Streets’ at the same time.

Trinity Takes to the Streets is a key part of Trinity’s commitment to building a community of support for students in need - providing critical support for students who are facing huge pressures in these adverse economic times.

Funds raised are distributed evenly to the Student Hardship fund, Trinity Access Programmes (TAP), and the National Institute for Intellectual Disability (NIID).

The voluntary hospice movement is a national network of local fundraising groups which raise funds throughout the year to ensure that patients and their families receive the appropriate care and support they need at a time when they are most vulnerable. Ireland's Biggest Coffee Morning is proudly supported by Bewley's and helps raise much needed funds for local hospice services.

FOL Kenya Ball

he seventh annual Kenya Ball, in aid of Cork-based charity, Friends of Londiani (FOL), will take place on Saturday 16th April 2011 at 7.30pm in the Maryborough House Hotel & Spa, Cork. The ball, which raises much needed funds for projects in the areas of health, education and water in Kenya, is the flagship fundraising event for the charity.
It is always a fantastic night and now established as one of the highlights of the Cork social calendar.
