Fundingpoint Seminar - Getting Grants & Raising MoneyDue to popular demand, The Wheel will is running this practical and timely event once more. The first part of this half-day training and networking seminar will concentrate on securing grant aid and the second part on raising money from companies. Time will be set aside for questions, comments and discussion. The seminar will be delivered by Trevor Gill of Training People, an agency providing training to non-profit organisations throughout Ireland. Nominate Your Irish Charity Hero and Help Win €1,000 for a Good Cause
The winner will be decided through public voting, and a cash prize of €1,000 will be donated to the Charity Hero’s favourite cause. Speaking about the competition, Aidan Power, Head of Marketing, EBS Building Society, said: “At EBS we’re delighted to be partnering with The Wheel for the Better Together Campaign. Recognising the good work people are doing all around this country is very important and through this campaign people are given the opportunity to acknowledge the work others are doing in their communities and show them their appreciation. The closing date for entries is 15 of November 2010. Ireland’s Charity Hero will be announced at a ceremony in Dublin on 25 November.
