Advice needed on insurance
We are a charity that does a lot of work on the internet, using support group pages, web pages, blogs, twitter etc, plus produce leaflets & business cards. We are putting on a Lyme disease conference next year & would like to consider using Trinity College, however they are asking for additional public indemnity insurance of 6,500,000. We cannot afford annual cover but wondered if anyone knows if insurance companies can provide short term cover for special events?
Many thanks for your help.

The 6.5 million is standard
The 6.5 million is standard on P&L policies. This is standard policy and should not be expensive as the activities you are engaging in are very low risk i.e. conferences etc. Shop around for annual insurance not one off insurance.
