Three simple steps to better IT Security
- Install Anti-Virus from a reputable vendor and keep your Anti-Virus up to date by renewing your subscription each year.
- Make sure your firewall is locked down. This will stop all inbound and outbound connections to your computer from the Internet. Just check your firewall settings.
- Ensure you have a strong password policy in place by enforcing passwords which contain a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols, and are typically a minimum of seven characters long.
