Sponsored Trek to Everest Base Camp with Foundation Nepal

Foundation Nepal is organising a sponsored trek to Everest Base Camp in October of this year, departing on 20th October and returning on 6th November. This historic trek to Everest Base Camp is one of the most famous expeditions in the world. It’s strenuous and challenging but does not require previous trekking or mountaineering experience, only that you be in good physical condition and able to hike for 4-6 hours over hilly terrain with a light day pack. This itinerary includes 12 days of trekking and has been designed with acclimatisation in mind. This makes the trip more enjoyable and gives everyone the best chance to reach base camp.

This is a life changing opportunity, both for you and also for the people of Humla in North East Nepal where Foundation Nepal works to improve the lives of some of the poorest people in the world. The cost of the sponsored trek is €4,950 which included international return flights to Kathmandu, all travel in Nepal, travel insurance, accommodation, meals and drinking water, guide and porter fees, permit fees, sightseeing and celebration dinner in Kathmandu. The costs exclude tourist visa (USD$40), spending money, medical vaccinations.
