RTE TV SHOW: NOMINATE UNSUNG HERO IN YOUR TOWN
My name is Amy Breen, I'm working with Belfast-based TV company Zoogon Productions. We are currently developing a new show for RTE
called 'Surprise Suppers' (working title). The premise of the show is that a
Michelin Star Chef leads a local community in their bid to surprise an
unsuspecting member of the public with a “flash mob” style world-class meal
when they least expect it.
The person (or group) who will receive this surprise will be an important
member of the community who the community want to pay back in this small
way. Basically, an unsung hero who deserves a night to remember.
Is there an individual (or group) in your town you want to nominate for all their hard work? We are looking an individual or a group of people who have thrust themselves into the community and have done something positive, perhaps making personal sacrafices to make it happen.
Perhaps there is someone in the community who volunteers their time endlessly to help others. Has an ordinary citizen done something extraordinary?
This really is positive, feel-good telly and would be a wonderful event for the town should we choose a person from your community,
