Notice

Monday 11th to Sunday 17th October is National Parents Week

The purpose of National Parents Week is to:

  • build awareness for the many organisations supporting parents

We invite you to take part in National Parents Week. To participate, your group can do whatever suits you – maybe a cup of coffee for your members, training, art competition, conference….. anything to highlight the very important role that parents play in society and the valuable work you do.

To register and ensure your event is listed on the Parentline website and any media coverage around National Parents Week please email info@parentline.ie .

National Parents Week is organised by Parentline and supported by AXA

About Parentline
Parentline offers support, guidance and information on all aspects of being a parent and the reassurance that, whatever the problem, you’re not the first parent to face it. Sometimes, all you could need is a listening ear. Parentline facilitators receive extensive training before going on the lines. They are real people who understand that sometimes the best help can be simply listening with understanding, compassion and care.
Parentline welcomes calls about any parenting issue – a problem which seems trivial at an early stage can easily develop into a more serious issue for both parent and child if unaddressed. Parentline’s lines are open Monday – Thursday 10 a.m. – 9. 30 p.m. and Friday 10 a.m. – 4.30 p.m. 1890 927277 or 018733500
