Are you involved with mother and baby groups, parent groups or community groups?
Often a group may wish to have someone in the group that knows a bit about breastfeeding without becoming a trained counsellor with a national breastfeeding support group, or group facilitators are asked questions about breastfeeding and may not have the correct and supportive information to reply. This short course over two separate days provides basic knowledge and skills to support and promote breastfeeding in line with national recommendations. The academic level is kept very accessible with emphasis on the normal situations avoiding medical terminology or scientific explanations.
The course is interactive and babies are welcome too. The November course in Meath costs €56 for each day if booked by November 1st with further discounts for group bookings.
