The elearning /distance programme on Cultural Anthropology and Diversity Skills for Professionals available at: http://www.arlt-foundation.org/
The programme is tutor supported and we promote reflective learning which allows students to engage fully with their studies. The programme includes one to one tuition, audio lectures and full transcripts / videos inclusive all text books and study material, access to the ARLT resource site with engaging power slides, forums and quizes etc.
It is designed for those working in human resources, particularly socially conscious business executives in multi-cultural cooperations or public sector leaders, health and care professionals, those working with non-profit or charity organisations, teachers and trainers, pure scientists, those wishing to pursue post- graduate studies in the social sciences and those involved in human rights. It is of course, relevant to anyone living in another culture.
It equips graduates with skills essential to work in a multicultural environment involving management, collaboration, building synergy overcome barriers/ build productive relationships and enhance opportunities for others. It allows participants to engage critically with cultural anthropology, raises awareness and appreciation of diversity and to draw on anthropological research to answer ethically sensitive questions and to improve intercultural communication.
