National Thank You Day - 25 November
Celebrities including Martin Sheen, Gabriel Byrne, Brian Kennedy, Brendan Gleeson, Sheila O' Flanagan, Brian Friel, Christy Moore, Sinead O’Connor, Maeve Binchy, Frank McGuinness, Gay Byrne, Fiona Looney, Cecilia Ahern, Niamh Greene, Rita Ann Higgins and Seamus Heaney are all supporting the Irish Hospice Foundation’s first ever National Thank You Day which will take place this year on Thursday, 25 November.
The celebrities have penned special messages for two fundraising gifts - "The Thank You Book" -a gratitude journal for everything that is positive and great in your life and the perfect Christmas gift!. Thereare also an inspiring range of Thank You cards available through Watermark Cards in all good bookshops. The “Thank You Book” was edited by Róisín Ingle and designed by award winning designer Steve Averill. Funds raised through the sale of these cards and books will go to the Children’s Hospice Home Care programme.
