Mad Hair Day- 12th November 2010-Make-A-Wish Foundation
Teasing, back-combing, gel sculpting and waves will be all the talk for secondary students around the country as students register for Mad Hair Day 2010 in aid of Make-A-Wish Ireland ®. On Friday the 12th November beehives, spikes, curls and frizz will be the order of the day for participating secondary schools all over Ireland who will raise funds for Make-A-Wish ® by wearing a mad hair style and donating €2 per child to the charity.
Make-A-Wish ® Mad Hair Day will be sponsored by Peter Mark nationwide who will be sponsoring computer prizes for schools in each region for the most creative hair style. Make-A-Wish ® grant wishes to children between the ages of 3 and 18 with life threatening medical conditions. We depend wholly on the generosity of the Irish public to grant magical wishes. Every wish is unique and extremely special to the family involved, allowing them to forget hospitals, treatments, injections and even the illness itself. Ensuring the family create fantastic memories that will last a lifetime.
