Launch of Policy Paper Making the Economic and Moral Case for Prevention & Early Intervention - 16 April


The Prevention and Early Intervention Network (PEIN) is launching a Policy Paper: Making the Economic and Moral Case for Prevention & Early Intervention, on Wednesday, 16 April from 11.00am - 1.00pm at The Oak Room, The Mansion House, Dawson Street, Dublin 2.

The Paper has been written by Independent Social Reseacher, Brian Harvey and will be launched by the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs, Frances Fitzgerald TD.

The event will also include a series of short films with Prevention and Early Intervention Champions:

  •     Mr Michael Donnellan, Director of the Irish Prison Service
  •     Fr Peter McVerry, founder of the Peter McVerry Homelessness Trust
  •     Ms Joanne Kelly, parent and participant in PEI parenting course
  •     Mr Mark Gray, speaking about his experiences of the Irish care system
  •     Professor Noirín Hayes, Early Years specialist.
