Half-Day Seminar

Persuasion Republic, 3 Kilmainham Square, Dublin 8

€95 per person

We are delighted to announce that Tom McDonnell, Senior Economist with the Nevin Economic Institute and Catherine Cox, Head of Communications with Family Carers Ireland, will join Persuasion Republic and Montague Communications for our upcoming seminar on Influencing Budget 2017.

They will join Ronan O’Brien, who was until recently Special Adviser to the former Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform, Brendan Howlin TD on a programme that will be both highly informative and hands-on practical.

With Budget 2017 due to be unveiled in mid October, Persuasion Republic and Montague Communications’ seminar on Thursday, 15 September (from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm) will focus on how the Budget Process works in reality and how NGOs can most effectively influence a more progressive budgetary process – both in the run-up to budget time and afterwards.

Other speakers will include Pat Montague – who will be setting out some of the findings from his own research on influencing the Budget Process – and Edel Hackett who will be setting out what’s involved in effective advocacy campaigns.
