Impact Assessment Seminar, 23 May 2012
You are invited to a half-day event jointly hosted by Philanthropy Ireland and the Social Impact Analysts Association (SIAA) to explore what the social impact and social value agendas mean for the Irish voluntary sector.

Time: 10:00 – 13:00
Venue: Alexander Hotel, 41-47 Fenian Street (off Merrion Square), Dublin
This event will look at current policy developments relating to the social value agenda. It will also examine the practical challenges facing Irish social purpose organisations in assessing and reporting on their impact; what opportunities social impact assessment can open up for organisations that engage with the process; and to what ends the evidence can be put to use.
Agenda
- Opening address by Phil Hogan TD, Minister for Environment, Community and Local Government
- Keynote address by Andreas Rickert, Chief Executive of German impact consultancy Phineo and SIAA Chairman
- A panel discussion and audience Q&A with speakers including Noelle Spring, Katherine Howard Foundation, Eoghan Stack, Director of Impact Investment,One Foundation, John A. Healy, Atlantic Philanthropies, Katie Burke, Centre for Effective Services and Rachel Murphy, Foróige
- A breakout discussion on key issues and feedback to the wider group
Refreshments will be provided and the event will conclude with lunch. It is free to attend.
