Getting Ready for the PQASSO Quality Mark - Wed 17 & Thur 18 June

Course summary

This course is designed for organisations who are in the process of or are thinking about applying for the PQASSO Quality Mark.

It will help you consider the detailed steps involved in the whole assessment process, and identify techniques, approaches and tools that will enable you and your organisation to proceed through all the steps involved smoothly. The course will also help you clarify your role as a Quality lead (or champion) within your organisation, as well as the roles and responsibilities of the rest of the staff, volunteers and trustees.

It is helpful is participants have already attended our 2 day course on Implementing PQASSO, or have experience in leading the self assessment process for their organisation

Is this course for you?
This course is for people who are involved in the implementation of PQASSO within their organisation, and/or lead in the process of the PQASSO Quality mark assessment. Existing PQASSO mentors that support other organisations with the Quality Mark, will also benefit from this course.

Course outcomes
By the end of the course participants will:

  • Have clear understanding of the detailed, practical steps of the PQASSO Quality Mark peer review process
  • Be more confident in preparing for the assessment process
  • Feel empowered to facilitate the process internally
  • Be more able to plan the following steps in their journey through the assessment process

Registration Fee and Terms and conditions
Fee for the 2 days training course is €275 per place. Early bird fee of €225 can apply if booking confirmed and fee received on or before Monday 25 May 2015. If two or more people from the same organisation book onto the same course a further discount may apply.   

  • Participants must bring their own copy of PQASSO to the training.   
  • Training will take place from 10am to 4pm each day. Tea, coffee available from 9.30am, with lunch provided.
  • All places will be confirmed in writing.
  • Bookings cancelled within 5 working days of the training taking place will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations must be made in writing and cancellation charges will apply whether or not payment has been received.
  • Please note that non-arrival at a course, with or without notice, counts as a cancellation.
  • Bookings may be transferred to another course date.
  • Please note that DFI reserves the right to cancel any course and in such cases, a full refund of course fees will be made.
