Free 'Weathering the Storm' Seminar

Blackbaud, authors of the market leading fundraising and CRM solution, the Raiser's Edge are hosting an event in September 22nd 2010 at the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, Dublin.

It was recently reported that some UK charities are facing 'the perfect storm' with reduced government funding for the services they provide, together with an increased number of people requiring their services due to a tighter taxation and benefits regime.  Whether you are looking to diversify your funding sources or looking to better nurture the supporter relationships you have, this event will be of interest to you.

The seminar will introduce you to ideas and concepts aimed at ensuring your supporter's journey is a fruitful and rewarding experience.  By establishing processes that ensure supporter's contributions to your cause are properly and personally acknowledged, respecting their communication preferences and providing them with relevant and targeted information, good stewardship can be assured.

I'm going!

I find it really interesting that Blackbaud are using Surveymonkey for their registrations.  I guess I was kind of surprised that Blackbaud are not using one of their own products for that function.  Maybe there's a hole in their product arsenal that needs plugging!

Still, fingers crossed for an interesting morning and a nice lunch:)
