FREE Training Opportunities with ECO-UNESCO
Youth Work & Sustainability
When? Wednesday, 15th February 2012, 10:00 a.m. – 4 p.m.
This interactive training session is designed to give participants an increased awareness of the principles of sustainable development along with ideas about practical activities for integrating Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) into their work with young people.
Peer Education & Sustainability
When? Thursday, 23rd February 2012, 10:00 a.m. – 4 p.m.
This training is for youth workers committed to running a Peer Education Programme with young people that explores the themes of sustainability and how to facilitate personal development in young people as peer educators. Learn how to run a 12 week Peer Education Programme centred on the principles of sustainability and leadership using ECO-UNESCO’s Youth for the Future Peer Education Handbook that will be provided FREE as part of this training.
Fee subsidised by Irish Aid. Booking is essential as places are limited.
