Free "Business, Law & Human Rights" Seminar & Wine Reception - Tuesday 19 April, 5.30pm in Dublin
PILA is delighted to announce a free seminar on "Business, Law and Human Rights" organised in conjunction with the Law Society of Ireland. It will take place on 19 April 2011 at 5.30 PM in the Blue Room at Blackhall Place. CPD points are available. A wine reception will follow.
The Honourable Mr Justice Gerard Hogan of the High Court of Ireland will chair. The featured speaker is Mr Michael Smyth CBE, consultant at Clifford Chance, author of "Business and the Human Rights Act" and Vice-Chairman of the International Bar Association's Corporate Social Responsibility committee.
Also speaking at the seminar are:
- Tina Roche, Chief Executive of Business in the Community Ireland, and
- Esther Lynch, Legislation & Social Affairs Officer of the Irish Congress of Trade Unions.
