“A Better, Fairer Way” National Demonstration, 27 November
As part of the “A Better, Fairer Way” campaign the Irish Congress of Trade Unions is calling on the broad spectrum of those to be impacted by the upcoming budget to join the national demonstration on Saturday the 27th of November, commencing at 12 noon. Show your support for alternative ways to tackle the economic crisis, including a focus on job creation, the protection of social welfare payments and essential services.
This demonstration has been organised in conjunction with a variety of other civil society organisations in order to ensure that the real concerns across all of Irish society are reflected on the day. Mr. Begg from Congress stated;
“People who want to make their voices heard should come out in force on Saturday, November 27. We cannot afford to wait, because it will be too late to protest on December 8.”
