Calling Ireland's young film makers!

Calling all young filmmakers aged 13-18 with an interest in social issues and causes!

The 2015  Better Together Young Filmmaker Award will open for entries on Monday Better Together14 September at 9am.

This is your chance to show your work to a huge audience, and you could also be in with a chance to win a free place at the 2016 Young Irish Film Makers Summer School in Kilkenny or a full day workshop for you and up to 15 friends, anywhere in Ireland!

Don’t worry, you don’t have to be a pro: anyone with a smart-phone, digital camera or camcorder can take part.

You can enter on your own, or as a group. There are just a few simple rules:

2. The video must be shorter than two minutes (longer videos will be disqualified)

3. You and everyone in your group, must be between 13 and 18 years of age

4. You should get permission from your parent/s (or legal guardian/s) to enter

Get working on your video and upload it to Youtube or Vimeo.

On 14 September you can head over to www.bettertogether.ie  to complete the entry form. (You can enter anytime between 14 September and 9 November, but the sooner you get your video in the better your chances!).
