The Wheel announces bumper Conference and Expo - 13 & 14 May

Sixteen top speakers, engaging discussions on the major challenges facing community and voluntary organisations, practical masterclasses and a new expo designed to help you cut your costs; these are just some of the highlights that you can look forward to The Wheel’s Conference and Expo on 13 and 14 May at the Croke Park Conference Centre.

Proceedings get under way on the evening of 13 May with The Wheel’s Networking Dinner and Annual Lecture for the Community and voluntary Sector. President Michael D.Higgins has agreed to deliver this year’s lecture.

The conference (14 May) will include contributions from 16 top speakers including Úna Ní Dhubhghaill (CEO of Charities Regulatory Authority), David Begg (the newly appointed Director of TASC), Danny McCoy (Director General of IBEC), Niall Crowley (independent equality and diversity expert) and many others.

There will be a series of practical masterclasses running in parallel with the conference, and each conference delegate is entitled to nominate up to two colleagues to attend the masterclasses and expo at no additional costs.

The conference is open to anyone with an interest in Ireland’s community, voluntary and charity sector, including those employed in the sector, volunteers, trustees, funders, service providers and policy-makers.
