Wellcome Trust Grants Workshop
The Wellcome Trust will be holding a one day workshop in Dublin this March for organisations that may be eligible for funding in the areas of science and art.
This free workshop will provide information on our Engaging Science grant schemes (People, Arts, Society and Broadcast Development Awards), including an overview of the grants programme, the aims and objectives of the awards, and details of the application and review process. As well as finding out how to produce an appropriate grant application, there will be opportunities to exchange ideas and develop partnerships and collaborations.
Highlights of the workshop will include:
- The chance to meet previous and existing grantholders and hear their experiences, from the application process right through to running and completing a successful project
- Individual grant surgeries with Wellcome Trust staff from each of the Engaging Science grants schemes
- A session on how to get suitable scientific input into your project.
How to Attend
The Engaging Science grants workshop will be held on Thursday, 25 March 2010. The event will start at 10.30 and finish by 17.00.The precise Dublin venue has yet to be confirmed. The workshop is free but needs to be booked in advance.
