The Wheel held a very well attended and hugely engaging "business breakfast" at Wynn's Hotel in Dublin earlier this week. Billed as an opportunity to meet the next President of Ireland, 6 of the 7 presidential candidates* were in attendance.

Each of the candidates was given a few minutes to speak on the theme of, 'My vision for civil society and active citizenship in the years ahead'. And, whether you consider the office of President to be a largely ceremonial role, or whether you think that the winning candidate really can make a serious difference, there are undoubtedly some powerful words and ideas delivered in the following videos that make them well worth watching.
