The Irish Charities Shop Association (ICSA) is warning community and voluntary organisations not to associate with a number of bogus charity shops that have sprung up in recent months. These establishments are recruiting volunteers and accepting donations from the public, but it is not clear where their revenues are going. It has also been reported that these organisations are attempting to recruit charities to endorse them.
