Social Entrepreneurs Ireland: Awards Programme Opens for Applications

Social Entrepreneurs Ireland (SEI) are pleased to announce the that 2012 Awards Programme is now open for applications. The programme, which has a total fund of €775,000 to support individuals with new, big ideas for social change in Ireland, will see eight social entrepreneurs awarded across our two support programmes: The Impact Programme and the Elevator Programme.
SEI will Award three social entrepreneurs a place on the Impact Programme. Each of these will receive a package of support worth €200,000 over two years to help them to scale the impact of their project/organisation. In addition, SEI willl select five social entrepreneurs to take part in the Elevator Programme. Each of these will receive a package of support worth €35,000 over one year.Public Launch of Programme
Social Entrepreneurs Ireland invite you to join them tomorrow morning (18th Jan) at 11.15 outside the Gibson Hotel (just behind the Point Theatre beside the Luas Station) for a cup of tea/coffee and take part in a group photoshoot to launch the selection process. SEI are hoping to get as many people to take part in the group photo as possible to show the momentum behind social entrepreneurship in Ireland, so they very much hope you can make it!
