Ulster Bank Business Achievers Awards are now open and welcome applications across 8 categories including Social Enterprise.  Winners for Munster, Connaught and Leinster will go forward to join the Ulster winner in a gala evening in December in Dublin.  Why not take the time to apply and get your organisation the recognition it deserves.

Congratulations to Ulster Bank on Top CSR Award

Ulster Bank's ceaseless dedication to community engagement has netted the company two well deserved awards at the recent 2015 Chambers Ireland Corporate Social Responsibility Awards. 

The company was awarded the top prize on the night, the Outstanding Achievement in CSR Award, as well as the the Volunteering Award for the Moneysense for Schools Programme.

The Wheel congratulates Ulster Bank and all of it's staff in this wonderful achievement and for the shining example of positive community engagement that it provides to us all.

This category recognizes social enterprises that have a positive impact on our communities. You must be a community group, social group or charity founded and operating in Ireland to enter this category. Your application must illustrate your story and how your social enterprise model works. You should list your achievements which can include, but are not limited to, business, economic, societal, scientific or environmental contributions

Criteria

  • Must be a social enterprise
  • Community group, social group or charity founded and operating in Ireland

The last winner was The Food Hub, an initiative of Drumshanbo Community Council, The Food Hub is a voluntary community group that converted an old food factory into an enterprise centre for food and drink companies.
