Sky High Fundraising
Today the Irish Times reports that Headway, a charity that provides support services for people affected by acquired brain injury, has teamed up with specialist skydiving company, SkyDive4Charity, to offer people a chance to take to the skies and complete a parachute jump as a way to raise funds for Headway’s three centres, in Dublin, Cork and Limerick.
With dizzying dedication, Headway’s Chief Executive, Kieran Loughran, will himself be making the jump and is now looking for others to join him on this charitable adventure of a lifetime.
Those taking part in the jump will be in the very best of hands - Skydive4Charity, the company organising the logistics of the actual jump, is made up of professional skydiving instructors. The company was formed for the purpose of helping Irish charities to fundraise (in one of the most spectacular and exciting ways, it should be noted!) Skydive4Charity has already worked with numerous Irish charities, such as the Irish Red Cross, Concern and Down Syndrome Ireland.
Anyone interested in sponsoring Kieran or who would like to make their own jump for Headway should contact Gráinne on 01-810 2082 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
