Saint Patrick’s Cathedral Launches Community Grants Scheme

Saint Patrick’s Cathedral (CHY 848) is the National Cathedral of the Church of Ireland. It operates as a busy tourist site but primarily as a church that seeks to meet the spiritual and physical needs of its community in pursuit of the Christian gospel.

The Cathedral operates a generous grant scheme to support charities, voluntary and community groups in realising projects.

2015 Programme Areas

Saint Patrick’s particularly welcomes applications for projects in the areas of social justice, inclusion or community education, although applications related to other areas of need will be considered.

Saint Patrick’s is open to providing initial funding to support organisations wishing to develop project proposals that advance the programme areas. This funding can be used to help organisations identify sources of funding for larger scale projects.

Applications are invited for organisations working in either jurisdiction on the island of Ireland.

Deadline for applications: 5 November @ 5pm

Eligible bodies are invited to make an application for small project grants up to €5,000. Please read the application notes and use this application form. Incomplete forms may not be processed. Applications should be typed.

Potential applicants are encouraged to make contact with the programme’s co-ordinator, Eimhin Walsh, at 01 453 9472 or community@stpatrickscathedral.ie.
