Open Meeting: Help shape Cork's place in Ireland & Europe

County Cork residents and community groups are invited to have their say about key issues like job creation, care services, affordable energy, waste management and the local environment at an open meeting this Friday, 8 November, 9.30am to 1.30pm at the River Lee Hotel on the Western Road, Cork.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to help shape Cork’s place in Ireland and Ireland’s place in Europe. The meeting will hear from three expert speakers who will provide short presentations on the economy, Ireland’s social model and the environment. This will be followed by a Q&A and parallel discussions in working groups to identify the key priorities.

The outcome of this meeting will be published and presented to all political parties and the candidates in the 2014 European Elections.

This event is being hosted by The Wheel in partnership with the European Parliament Representation in Ireland. The meeting will be followed by an optional update for community & voluntary groups from 2pm-3.30pm.
