New Research Points to Massive Drop in Charitable Donations

New research has suggested that more than half of Irish people are less willing to donate to charity because of recent scandals effecting Irish charities.

The uncommissioned research, carried out by Am├írach, found that 45% of people had reduced their donations to charity in recent months. It also found that 55% of people surveyed - and who had previously given to charity - now have a 'reduced willingness' to donate in the future because of the CRC scandal.
