Learn to Make a Movie in One Week!

First Cut! Summer Project 2010 – Make a Film in a Week is taking place June 28 to July 2, 10am to 5pm, in Midleton, East Cork

Places are available to 20 young people, all those who took part in film training during the year from south and east of the Cork Harbour Area are welcome to apply, transport will be organised.

A week- long intensive course for young film makers, aged 15 and over.

Do you have a keen interest in making film, have you already participated in some film-making training or have you made films? If you would like a place on this course why not tell us about your experience in film –making and any plans you have for using these skills in the future. (200 words or less).

Course Content Will Include: screenwriting, production, acting for film, direction, camera work & lighting, hair & make-up, location, sound, editing, art direction, pre-production roles and hands-on exercises in the various fields covered. The course will also include internet opportunities and screening.

Max Le Cain and Ciara Hyland, Cork FILM Centre, will present the course with other invited specialists.
